Known MPOX-24 Symptoms

Shortness of Breath

One of the symptoms of MPOX-24 is swollen lymph nodes. Swollen lymph nodes are less common than fever and rash, but occur in about 30% of cases.

Rash

The rash usually begins on the face and spreads, evolving from flat lesions to raised bumps, fluid-filled blisters, pus-filled sores, and finally crusts or scabs.

Exhaustion

A general feeling of fatigue and lack of energy.

Fever

A sudden increase in body temperature is common.

Headache

Often quite severe, typically accompanying the fever.

Respiratory Symptoms

Sometimes, cough or sore throat can occur.

Chills

Feeling unusually cold and shivering.

Swollen Lymph Nodes

Noticeable around the neck, armpits, groin.
